Coach hire in Cape Town

22, 35 and 50-seater coaches for tours, schools, sports teams, church groups and conferences.

45-seater luxury coach ready for hire in Cape Town

Full-size air-conditioned coaches with reclining seats, onboard PA, USB charging and luggage hold. Ideal for inbound tour groups, school outings, sports federations, church groups and conference shuttles. Multi-day routes across the Western Cape, Garden Route and into neighbouring provinces are routine.

01

For inbound tour groups

We run the ground transport for several inbound operators. Fixed itineraries, printed run sheets, live location sharing with your tour leader and one point of contact from arrival to departure. Drivers are briefed on the full itinerary before day one, so a missed flight or a re-ordered wine stop is absorbed without a phone tree.

02

For schools & sports teams

PrDP-licensed drivers, a seatbelt on every seat and formal indemnity paperwork ready for parents. Weekend fixtures, inter-schools, music tours, festival transport and multi-day school tours across the Western Cape. Kit, instruments and equipment travel in the hold or on a towed trailer, and teachers get the driver's number directly.

03

For conferences & events

Delegate shuttles between hotels, the convention centre and the gala dinner, with staggered pickups, name-board meet-and-greet and per-hour standby if you need coaches held on-site. We handle CTICC arrivals, off-site team-build days and airport waves for delegations of 50 to 400.

04

Multi-day & Garden Route

Cape Town to Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Addo, Route 62 or the West Coast. Multi-day pricing includes driver accommodation, meals and off-day standby, so the quote you approve is the amount you're invoiced. Cross-border runs into Namibia and Botswana are arranged with permits on request.

05

Winelands day charters

A coach is the simplest way to move a large group through Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl in a day. Three or four estates, a lunch stop and everyone back at the same time — with no one nominating a designated driver and no convoy of cars getting separated between farms.

06

What's on board

Air conditioning throughout, reclining fabric seats, tinted windows, curtains, an onboard PA for your guide, USB charging on the larger coaches and a lockable underfloor luggage hold. Coolers, microphones and a trailer for golf bags, instruments or sports kit can be added to any booking.

07

Safety, licensing & compliance

Every coach carries a valid operating licence, roadworthy certificate and full passenger liability cover, and each is serviced on a fixed interval rather than on failure. Drivers hold PrDPs, log rest breaks on long routes and are subject to a zero-alcohol policy. Compliance documents are supplied upfront for corporate and school procurement.

08

How pricing works

Coach hire is quoted per day or per route, and every rate includes the vehicle, driver, fuel and standard tolls. There are no deposits on account bookings, no credit-card holds and no fuel top-ups on return. Send your dates, group size and stops and we'll return a written fixed quote, usually within the hour.

Common questions

Do coaches include a driver and fuel?

Yes — every quoted rate includes the driver, fuel and standard tolls. Cross-border trips add the driver's meals and accommodation, which we itemise on the quote.

Can we combine several coaches for a large group?

Absolutely. We regularly run fleets of five to ten vehicles for conferences, weddings and inbound groups. One coordinator manages the whole convoy and keeps arrival times aligned.

What sizes are available?

22-seater Coasters, 35-seater midi coaches and 50-seater full-size coaches, backed by 13-seater Quantums and 22-seater Sprinters when a group splits or a smaller feeder vehicle is needed.

How much luggage can a coach carry?

Full-size coaches take one large case plus a carry-on per passenger in the underfloor hold. For golf, sports or production equipment we add a towed trailer at a small extra cost.

How far in advance should we book a coach?

Peak season (November to March) and school-tour periods should be booked four to eight weeks ahead. Off-peak, a few days' notice is usually enough — but the earlier you confirm, the wider the vehicle choice.

Are the coaches air-conditioned?

Every coach in the fleet is fully air-conditioned, with tinted windows and curtains for long summer routes.

Can we eat or drink on board?

Sealed drinks and light snacks are fine. Alcohol is only permitted with prior arrangement on private charters, and never on school or youth-group bookings.

What happens if a coach breaks down?

We keep spare capacity in the fleet and hold reciprocal agreements with vetted operators, so a replacement vehicle is dispatched immediately and your itinerary continues with minimal delay.
