About Jordan Wine Estate

A quiet, family-run estate high in the Stellenbosch Kloof, with a lake, a garden-to-plate restaurant and the multi-award-winning Nine Yards Chardonnay.

Jordan is tucked away in the Stellenbosch Kloof, about a 20-minute drive from town, and rewards the detour with a beautiful lake, a serious kitchen garden and consistently excellent wines. Owners Gary and Kathy Jordan still run the estate day-to-day.

History

Purchased by the Jordan family in 1982 and replanted through the 1980s, the first Jordan vintage was released in 1993. The estate quickly became a Chardonnay reference and, with the addition of the restaurant, a full-day destination.

The wine experience

Seated tastings in the modern tasting room overlook the lake. The Nine Yards vertical (by appointment) is a highlight for Chardonnay lovers.
